How do I apply for student accommodation at the Crous?

29 May 2024

The question that inspired this post:

Hey guys, is a person accepted into a uni through campus France legible for Crous?

Answer

"Yes, you are eligible. You need to log in to your messervice account and apply or even better, contact your school if they can help especially if your still in Kenya"

Answer on the deadline

"That's usually the dilemma with crous, once you get your response from EEF the deadline has passed and all the places have been pretty much taken, almost like they expect you to apply even before you know if you have been accepted ( for étudiants étrangers) which is impossible.

But dont give up, the slots usually open up towards july august, some people get accepted into two and pick one, some people get other options . You can even email the crous and ask them to keep you on a waiting list in case of désistement . Foncéz, tentéz. Bon courage!"
