Question that inspired this post:
I am currently applying for my French nationality and I need to translate my English documents to French. Can you please recommend me a certified Translator? Who also has a reasonable price I asked a translator that I found online and he was asking me 40 euros per page (tax not included yet) I dont know if it’s the regular price range?
so for 9 pages he was asking me a total of 432 € TTC! It is way out of my budget!

"Make sure the translator is “agréé” by the French government otherwise you may be doing this twice. The price you quoted seems a lot like what I paid. It is not cheap that’s for sure! Check this page for a list of approved translators. Everything about this process costs money but once done the documents will serve you for life. Always keep your original translations as well as the documents.
